Guitar Hero World Tour for Wii is yet another hot item this year. Yes, there are a number of them. Good idea though. If there were just one hot item, there wouldn’t be any available. With a number of them, at least you have a chance to beat the crowd to the spot where they have those few left. And that is the scenario of you wait on this item until later. It is currently available but is out of stock in at least one online location right now. This is a battle of the bands game that is going to rock the house. With this, there are wireless instruments. You can create your own songs through the Music Studio. Be a song writer.
Create your own band with one instrument or many. Up to four players can have a great jam session together or go through a career. Never play solo again. Online capable so that you can have up to 8 band members with you. Virtual members can make worldwide connections. Get into Mii Freestyle mode which is only on Wii. You can create Rock, Metal and Blues by yourself or hook up with others and jam the night away with original music. There are over 85 tracks included with this system.
And frankly, there is so much to this outfit that I cannot possibly tell it all right here. The one thing I am sure of is that if you do not have self defense products with you when you go to a store to buy this, it may be very difficult. No, I’m just kidding. But the reality is that this is likely to be in limited supply due to the Christmas season about to be upon us. This is a major title.
This whole thing includes: wireless guitar controller, wireless drum controller and microphone with 15 ft. USB cable.

Journals are the new thing now. Okay, I sound sort of old since I used to have a diary with a little lock on it that anyone could pick at the drop of a hat. Still, I felt safe writing down all my inner thoughts and locking them up so no one (no idea who would read it anyway) could read my shocking life as a teen. Now, the girls are interested in online blogging and journals but there is still that urge to write things down plus possibly have a snapshot journal or video journal too. And you can have that.
The Girl Tech Video Journal will do exactly those things plus has the added bonus of not being online until and unless you want that to happen. You can create your own journal through videos, pictures and the written word. The old diaries just won’t do anymore. Just before you take those pictures and videos, we know you’ll be running to the mirrors in the house to make sure your makeup is in good shape. Afterwards, take photos with the digital camera which is included. There is a daily calendar and great templates so that you can create your special mood, your special place with the scrapbook function. And of course, you can keep it all private with the hide button.
Recommended for ages 8 and up. Requires 1 AAA battery which is not included. Included with the journal; the camera, software,
USB cable, camera docking station and lanyard.

You know, I mentioned that different toys and items were hot this year and that they will be unavailable, possibly, by December. This is another of those items I believe will be so hot that it cannot be found come Christmas time. Take note of the capacity. Now, there are also Apple iPod nano at 8 GB which are cheaper if you need that. But take a look at what this particular iPod has to offer. It has the capacity for 16 hours of video, 4000 songs or 14,000 photos. When fully charged, you can play back 4 solid hours of video or up to 24 hours of music. It comes in a new curved design with a choice of 8 amazing colors, most likely including your favorite color. The Genius Playlist feature is capable of finding songs for you in your music library. When it does, it makes a play list of the ones that go well together.
Some of these features are so great. Shake it and it changes songs. Turn it on it’s side and you can go through your album art in Cover flow. Tilt, move and play games (separately sold). Listen to your favorite music, watch your favorite television shows, videos and movies on your 2 inch screen. There are many more features but you will have to go look at them yourself.
Included: iPod, earphones, USB 2.0 cable, dock adapter, quick start guide.

Parker Brothers has done it again. Monopoly has come into the 21st century with this edition. Some are going to say they want the old, original version. They can still have that. But this edition is going to bring the kids into the electronic age with their debt cards in the game. New streets, new tokens, new banking system. With a swipe of the card, you can pay fines, collect rent, buy properties. It’s all in the cards. And don’t worry, the debt collection agencies will not be after you but you might want to watch out for your buddies in the game. They might want their money! The tokens have changed! It is no longer a shoe and an old style race car. Now you will have an altoids tin, a space shuttle, flat screen tv, a baseball cap, a Segway personal transporter and a dog in a handbag. Of course, there will also be the chance and community chest cards, 2 dice, 32 houses, 12 hotels, 6 tokens named above and the 6 debit cards to do all those transactions.
Recommended for ages 8 and up. Requires 2 AAA batteries that are not included. Works for 2-6 players, limited only by the number of tokens in the game.

The Barbie dolls I am about to talk about are not for the fainthearted price wise. But they are awesome collector’s edition dolls. This particular doll is fabulously dressed in a hot pink outfit. Her full-length faux chinchilla coat looks like she stepped out of a fashion magazine. Included in her awesome designer clothing, she is wearing pink thigh-high boots, chunky earrings and a designer bag. I don’t imagine she has on the sexy lingerie that obviously goes with the outfit but she does look like she is a model on a runway. Kimora also has her adorable little dog with her.
This is a gold label collector’s edition item and there is a very limited number available. Made by Mattel. There is no recommended age on this as I believe most would want to have it as a collector’s doll.
