Apple iPod nano 16 GB

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

You know, I mentioned that different toys and items were hot this year and that they will be unavailable, possibly, by December. This is another of those items I believe will be so hot that it cannot be found come Christmas time. Take note of the capacity. Now, there are also Apple iPod nano at 8 GB which are cheaper if you need that. But take a look at what this particular iPod has to offer. It has the capacity for 16 hours of video, 4000 songs or 14,000 photos. When fully charged, you can play back 4 solid hours of video or up to 24 hours of music. It comes in a new curved design with a choice of 8 amazing colors, most likely including your favorite color. The Genius Playlist feature is capable of finding songs for you in your music library. When it does, it makes a play list of the ones that go well together.

Some of these features are so great. Shake it and it changes songs. Turn it on it’s side and you can go through your album art in Cover flow. Tilt, move and play games (separately sold). Listen to your favorite music, watch your favorite television shows, videos and movies on your 2 inch screen. There are many more features but you will have to go look at them yourself.

Included: iPod, earphones, USB 2.0 cable, dock adapter, quick start guide.

Disney Mix Stick MP3 Player

To be honest, I paid zero attention to these things (MP3 players) until my nieces wanted them. I had no idea what they were let alone why anyone would want one. One of them brought an MP3 player to me so I could hear her idea of the latest from Alvin and The Chipmunks. The part that struck me as important was that this tiny little thing could hold as much music as it could and that you could take it anywhere in your pocket or purse. That amazed me since I come from an older crowd.

Now, on to the Mix Stick MP3 Player! This particular player comes in a variety of colors. I particularly like the ice blue chrome ones. It features 512MB of memory but you can add more to bring it to 1 GB of memory! It is capable of eight hours with WMA-files or up to four hours with MP3-files. Either way, there are hours of entertainment and tunes. If you use it with Disney Mix Clips, no computer is necessary.

Included are a USB connector, earbuds, lanyard and software. Disney Mix Clips sold separately. Disney says it’s recommended for ages 7-12 years but I saw what both my nieces were like with MP3 players. I doubt it matters too much in the teen years as long as they like Disney.
